Dr. Allen provides complete eye care, which includes: regular eye examinations, cataract, LASIK, and glaucoma surgeries in addition to diabetic eye treatments. He is pleased to serve both adult and pediatric patients.

Dr. Allen recognizes that each patient has unique needs, which require individualized treatment. With his broad educational background, he is able to tailor the treatment to the needs and requests of his patients.

Dr. Allen was raised outside of Salt Lake City, Utah, and attended Brigham Young University for college. He graduated from Brigham Young with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to attending The Ohio State University for medical school, he worked as an electrical engineer for Raytheon and L-3 Communications. Dr. Allen completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the West Virginia University Eye Institute.

Dr. Allen is a board certified ophthalmologist.

Dr. Allen and his wife have three young sons. His hobbies include running, hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding. He also enjoys the performing arts.
