Dr. Campbell has practiced ophthalmology in the Wheat Ridge area for over 25 years. He provides complete eye care. His care includes eye exams for glasses and contacts, the diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical eye conditions, LASIK, cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery and diabetic treatment.
Dr. Campbell recognizes that each patient has unique needs which require individualized treatment. As a result of his individualized care, he has many patients who travel from other states and countries to see him. Dr. Campbell has been recognized several times by the 5280 Magazine for being one of Denver's Best Doctors. He has also been named a 7 News Everyday Hero by KMGH Denver Channel 7. Dr. Campbell is the past Chairman of Ophthalmology for Lutheran Hospital, a position that he held for several terms. He currently serves on the Medical Executive Committee for Clear Creek Surgical Center. He has also served on the Quality Assurance Committees for Lutheran Hospital and for Lakewood Surgical Center. Dr. Campbell is a member of the Colorado Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Colorado Medical Society and the Clear Creek Medical Society. Dr. Campbell holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Colorado, and received his M.D. from Georgetown University. His post graduate training includes an internship at St. John Hospital, in Detroit, Michigan, and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Dr. Campbell is a board certified ophthalmologist and a fourth generation Coloradoan. He and his wife reside in Denver, and they have two grown children. In his free time, Dr. Campbell enjoys golf, tennis, skiing and running.
